The National Lottery has urged players in Ireland to check their tickets after a lucky player won a significant sum of money in Saturday night's draw on July 1. During the draw, no player hit the Lotto jackpot worth over €3 million. However, 99,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including one anonymous individual who took home the €135,820 Match 5 + Bonus prize.
The winning numbers in the main Lotto draw include 06, 08, 11, 24, 42, 46, plus the bonus number 43. No player matched all six numbers plus the bonus number in this draw. But one player came within accurate numbers of earning the €3,167,495 prize.
Although the player may be sad about missing out on the prize because of one unlucky number, they can console themselves by picking up their reward worth €135,820 from The National Lottery, the only regulated lottery operator in the United Kingdom. This lottery lover has yet to claim the winnings.
The UK National Lotto has asked all players in Ireland who participated in the Saturday draw to confirm their tickets to find out if they are one of the major winners. To claim the reward, players should contact the regulated lottery operator through the following channels:
The numbers announced for the Lotto Plus 1 draw were 01, 10, 20, 26, 31, 40, and the bonus number 47. Once again, the €1 million jackpot in this draw was unclaimed, but one player did win the €5,000 Match 5 + Bonus.
On the other hand, the winning numbers in the Lotto Plus 2 draw, which had a top prize of €250,000, were 04, 05, 09, 18, 23, 27, and bonus number 11. In this case, no one won the jackpot, but three players matched five correct numbers plus the bonus, earning them each €2,500.
In addition, 82 people won the raffle prize in this lottery game, with each winner taking home €500. 2842 is the winning raffle number.
Last week was a big one for lottery players in Ireland, with a few of them bagging life-changing sums. In Friday night's draw, a Galway player won €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus jackpot. Another Irish player from Limerick bagged €1 million from the Daily Million draw.
