Are you struggling to define what gambling luck is? On September 9, 2023, the Saturday Lotto draw number 4397 produced ten new millionaires. The most surprising part is that five of the new millionaires are from New South Wales, Australia.

10 Lucky Lotto Players Share Division One Prize Pool After Saturday’s Lotto Draw

Following this astounding stroke of luck, each top-tier winner received $1 million from the Division One Prize Pool, amounting to a mind-blowing $10,000,000. The winning numbers 11, 9, 14, 29, 7, and 15—along with the extra digits 17 and 23 were enough to bring joy to several homes across Australia.

Division Two of the lottery game also had its own set of winners. It was revealed that 136 players received the second-division prize of $6,479. The division also had several jackpot winners, bringing the total prize money for that division to $881,144.

The numbers were even higher in Division Three, with 2,223 winners who received $599.90 each from the division’s $1,333,577.70 prize pool.

  • Below are the winners in the other divisions following Saturday’s Lotto draw in Australia:
  • Division Four, with a total prize pool of $1.97 million, paid $19.40 to over 101,000 players.
  • Division Five, with a total prize pool of $3.09 million, paid $3.09 million to over 253,000 players.
  • Division Six, with a total prize pool of $9.36 million, paid $7.30 to over 1.28 million players.

This is not the first time that Australia has produced ten lottery millionaires at once. Late last month, a NSW syndicated pocketed $40 million on Powerball. Most of the winners were from Wentworth, which has a total population of just around 1,500. The 10-person syndicate was the only Division One winner, earning $500,000.

On August 22, a woman from NSW became an instant millionaire after winning $1 million on the TattsLotto draw. Although the lucky player confirmed that she won’t quit her job, she said this win will help pay off her mortgage and define her future plans.
